⚡ How to Get Your LNURL
Step-by-step guide for getting a reusable Lightning LNURL from popular wallets.
The Satoshi Faucet sends free sats using LNURL (Lightning).
This guide is for beginners — follow the steps below.
✅ We accept LNURL only — starts with lnurl1...
❌ We do NOT accept Lightning invoices (lnbc1...)
What is LNURL?
LNURL is a reusable Lightning payment link — like a Bitcoin address, but for Lightning.
- Starts with lnurl1...
- You can reuse it many times
- The faucet decides the amount (e.g. 100 sats)
ℹ️ LNURL is the safest option for faucets because users cannot request more sats than allowed.
❌ What NOT to paste
Do NOT paste Lightning invoices like:
lnbc1u1p...
These are single-use and often request the wrong amount.
📱 How to Get LNURL from Popular Wallets
🟢 Wallet of Satoshi (Recommended)
- Open Wallet of Satoshi
- Tap Receive
- Look for LNURL or Lightning address
- Copy the text starting with lnurl1...
✅ Wallet of Satoshi provides a reusable LNURL by default
Phoenix Wallet
- Open Phoenix
- Tap Receive
- Select LNURL (not invoice)
- Copy the lnurl1...
Alby Wallet
- Open Alby (web or extension)
- Go to Receive
- Copy your LNURL or Lightning address
Some Alby wallets also show a Lightning address like name@getalby.com.
This works too — your wallet converts it to LNURL automatically.
BlueWallet
- Open BlueWallet
- Select your Lightning wallet
- Tap Receive
- Choose LNURL (if shown)
If BlueWallet only shows an invoice (lnbc1...),
you must enable LNURL in settings or use another wallet.
✅ Final Checklist
- ✅ Starts with lnurl1...
- ✅ Copied directly from your wallet
- ❌ Not a Lightning invoice
🎉 That's it! Paste (or scan) your LNURL into the faucet and enjoy your sats.
